What Jobs They Have
They’re hiring for six positions. Here’s what each one does:
Executive Procurement – You’ll handle buying stuff for projects. Dealing with vendors, managing contracts, that sort of thing. Needs someone who’s good with numbers and negotiations.
Assistant Manager Coordination – This is basically making sure different teams talk to each other. You coordinate projects, keep timelines on track. My friend does something similar – says it’s busy but interesting.
Executive Corporate Affairs – PR and communications role. You handle how the company talks to the public, media relations, that kind of work.
Associate Web Developer – Now this one’s different from the others. You’ll build and maintain their websites. Need actual coding skills for this.
Assistant Manager Technical – Technical side of development projects. Quality checks, making sure construction and development work is up to standard.
Manager Coordination – Senior version of the Assistant Manager role. More responsibility, bigger projects.
Can You Apply?
Let’s be real about this. These aren’t entry-level jobs for most positions. Here’s what you actually need.
Education Stuff
For the management roles, they want Master’s degrees or MBAs. BBA might work for some positions but honestly, MBA candidates will get preference. That’s just how it is.
Web Developer needs Computer Science or IT degree. Bachelor’s minimum, but if you have a Master’s, even better.
Your university has to be HEC-recognized. Private university is fine as long as HEC recognizes it. Check their website if you’re not sure. Foreign degree? Get the equivalence certificate first.
Age Thing
Usually 21 to 35. But there are exceptions. Government employees get 5 extra years. Disabled people get 10. Balochistan, FATA, AJK, GB folks also get 5 more years.
Just make sure you have the right papers to prove it.
Experience – Do You Need It?
Yeah, for most of these you do. Executive and Manager positions want 2-5 years of relevant work. Web Developer needs to show actual projects you’ve done.
Fresh graduate? Tough luck with most of these. Maybe if you have really impressive internships or projects, but don’t get your hopes up too much. They want people who’ve done this kind of work before.
How to Actually Apply
Alright, here’s what you do:
Get the Ad First
Find Khabrain from January 19th. Or check REDMC’s website – they might have posted it there too. Read the whole thing. Don’t skip parts.
Papers You Need
CNIC (both sides), all your degrees and certificates (Matric onwards), domicile, photos, experience letters, character certificate. Everything needs to be attested by a Gazetted Officer.
Start getting attestation done now. Don’t leave it for last week. Those offices get crowded and you’ll waste time standing in queues.
Make a Good CV
Keep it professional. Education, experience, skills. For Web Developer, add your portfolio – links to websites you’ve built, projects you’ve worked on. Makes a difference.
Fill the Form
Download from their website or get from office. Fill carefully. Block letters. No mistakes. Your phone and email better be working because that’s how they’ll contact you.
Send It
Whatever method the ad says. Online or by post. If posting, use TCS or Leopards. Don’t use Pakistan Post for important stuff.
Deadline’s February 2nd but submit by January 30th. Last minute things go wrong.
Questions People Ask
What’s the pay like?
They don’t mention exact numbers in the ad. But from what I know, Executive level gets around 50-80k. Manager level can be 80-120k or more. Depends on your experience.
Can I apply for more than one?
Check the ad. Usually yes if you qualify, but might need separate applications.
Any fee?
Might be. Check the ad. If yes, it’s through bank challan. Don’t give cash to anyone.
My Two Cents
Look, REDMC isn’t a bad place. It’s government-backed so there’s job security. Pay is decent. But these positions need real experience.
If you’re applying for Web Developer, your portfolio matters more than your degree. Show them actual websites you’ve built. Even personal projects count.
For management roles, they care about what you’ve actually done. Don’t just list job titles in your CV. Talk about projects you managed, results you got, problems you solved.
And here’s something – research the company before your interview. Know what REDMC does, what projects they’re working on. Shows you’re serious.
Start preparing now. Don’t wait for the interview call to start thinking about it.
Good luck!
